What was your first job as a journalist?
I was tasked with interviewing the developers of behind a game called Forza Motorsport 3.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes I have, during a desperate moment in middle school involving a broken computer, a paper that was due, and a relic of my mother's.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Being able to speak with really interesting people, minus the tedious small talk. Telling stories, in the most revealing and accurate form.

No I did not.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
A profile interview I did with a former child soldier turned rapper, Emmanuel Jal.

Straight in the morning, when I'm liable to have a coffee in my hands.
What's your favorite drink?
A screwdriver

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That technology coverage is all fun and games. Yes, fun and games will be had, but it requires a lot of prior knowledge and hard work.
