GSK‐J4: An H3K27 histone demethylase inhibitor, as a potential anti‐cancer agent
Abstract Aberrant epigenetic modifications are emerging as potent drivers of tumor initiation and progression. The deregulation of H3K27me3 marks has shown to play an important role in cancer progression in several cancers. The H3K27me3 mark is associated with gene silencing. The reversible nature of these epigenetic aberrations makes them an important target for treating cancer.

TGF-β promotes PI3K-AKT signaling and prostate cancer cell migration through the TRAF6-mediated ubiquitylation of p85α
TGF-? signaling stimulates various intracellular pathways that can promote migration in tumor cells. These pathways are generally thought to be either dependent or independent of transcription factors called SMADs. One of the SMAD-independent pathways (PI3K-AKT) is mediated by a direct interaction between PI3K and the TGF-? type I receptor. However, Hamidi et al.
