Norman Gomlak’s Biography
Local news editor for The Baltimore Banner, a nonprofit local news site that launched in 2022. Previously worked as deputy metro editor and suburban editor for the Houston Chronicle and as an editor for the Baltimore Sun, the (Raleigh) News & Observer, the Associated Press and Congressional Quarterly. A graduate of Boston University, I also covered suburban news as a reporter for The Charlotte Observer and state and local politics and transportation for The Journal Newspaper in northern Virginia.
