Ronald Araújo has taken another step forward in his recovery and will travel with the Barcelona squad to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup. The Uruguay centre-back returned to training last week after a month-long absence and has spent recent sessions rebuilding match sharpness. While he is not yet ready to play, Araújo will join the travelling group heading to Jeddah on Monday as Barcelona look to defend the Super Cup title they won last season against Real Madrid.
