I am a visually challenged girl and because of this, I’ve had many experiences in my everyday life that may seem small, but they’ve had a large impact on my mind. While walking on the road, some people just randomly hold my white cane and start walk along with me without my consent. Some people hold my hand from behind and start walking with me. Some people make different sounds when they see that I am visually challenged. They make sounds like “OMG, ARE ARE, chchchch” and so on.
An unforgetable experience
Every journey of ours is a page of a book of an experience or multiple experiences. In every journey, we come across different kinds of people, we listen to their stories, sometimes overhearing them, and at times, they share their stories with us directly. We tend to remember the stories which we like and we forget the stories which we don’t like. In my everyday journey by Mumbai local, I come across many such stories. Every story is a learning experience for me.
