Last week, CoreWeave, a former crypto mining company turned GPU-focused cloud service provider, led by Magnetar Capital, Blackstone, and other firms. CoreWeave will use the funds to expand its infrastructure—primarily AI accelerators supplied by one of its strategic investors, Nvidia. Interestingly, the AI accelerators will serve as collateral for the loan.
