Participants Participants were undergraduate students enrolled in an upper-level psychology class at a university in western Canada. The initial sample included 223 students, but those who did not complete key measures were excluded (N = 20). Thus, the final dataset included 203 participants with a mean age of 22.3 (SD = 3.6), with 144 identifying as women, 53 as men, 1 as non-binary, and 5 not indicating their gender identity.
