Is Tomasz Adamek HOF worthy?
Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by UnleashtheFURY, . Won the WBC title at LHW, lost to Dawson in a very good fight. Moved up to CW and became "the man" albeit very briefly Long time HW contender and at one point a top 10 fighter. The biggest accomplishment of his career is obviously the CW run, apart from that.. There's a good mix of good but not great wins scattered throughout his career.
Shane Mosley jr. loses first pro fight.
fighter86 said: ↑ Name me some HOF Champion Fighters who did really well and there sons started boxing and became successful. I can only name one and his name is Chavez Jr and they took his career slowly. Most of these fighters do have sons ,and most of them can't fight. If SSM son is getting expose this early ,boxing is not his cup of tea. There are HOF fighters that would never allow there sons to get in the ring. Click to expand... They're taking Moselys career slowly too.

Prime Evander Holyfield vs Prime Lennox Lewis
As far as Holyfield is concerned, i would say his prime years have to be 1988-1993. He didn't have one punch ko power, he was not intimidating at first glance but he had the heart and spirit of a warrior, he would never back down, he would always be at you, would be capable of thinking on his feet and changing his approach during the fight, he had very good handspeed and a granite chin. His never give up attitude certainly would intimidate any fighter in history.

Teofimo to fight October 2nd if he gets past Kambosos
Who would you like to see him fight?
When a fighter dies.
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by VG_Addict, Jun 6, 2021 at 1:22 PM. How do you feel when a fighter dies in the ring or after a fight? I mean, deaths happen all the time in boxing, right? After a while, you kind of become desensitized to it. If he dies, he dies......

Wilder’s Arbitration win proves Al Haymon is the smartest guy in boxing
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Olu G. Rotimi, May 18, 2021 at 3:48 AM. The Wilder Arbitration win just goes to show what I have always felt that Uncle Al Haymon is the smartest sharpest guy in boxing. Harvard Business School is better than Harvard Law School. PBC beats Top Rank again. Haymon trumps Arum again. ButeTheBeast, N17 and chico g like this. The bomb squad have pulled a blinder.
Anthony Joshua vs Oleksander Usyk - Prediction and discussion
Also, I would like to add. Assuming it will be August 14th still. Apparently AJ was looking huge a couple of weeks ago, like it was bulking season, we have to remember he was preparing for a much bigger man, so the physical side of things was important for AJ. Usyk in August is a different proposition, AJ will have to shed a lot of muscle mass in 11-12 weeks, very doable but it's still a completely different training camp he was preparing for, different sparring, different everything.
Arum Says Crawford In Line To Fight Ramirez/Taylor Winner In The Fall...

Tyson Fury calls out Deontay Wilder

Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Forza, May 17, 2021 at 12:41 PM. Forza Obsessed with Boxing That will be only 18 pro fights and yet such an amazing career. MeatFeastMan likes this. I agree. This shouldn't be controversial at all. Taylor is a beast with a good resume. Probably top 10, but don't know where. P4P has gone to **** because these fighters aren't fighting enough.
Prime Bernard Hopkins vs Canelo
Pimp C said: ↑ Hopkins is a bad match up for Canelo much like how Ward would be. I think Hopkins beats him. Click to expand... Hopkins was a tricky, crafty guy who knew every trick in the book. He's an easy fight for nobody. I think he'd have trouble with Canelo though. Canelo's fast hands, counter punching and extreme power are a lot to deal with. The younger version of Canelo loses. This version of Canelo is smarter and fights more disciplined and economical.
Canelo vs Caleb Plant
Boxing News 24 Forum Forums > Boxing > World Boxing Forum > Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by BoxingDialogue, May 12, 2021 at 12:24 PM. Assuming this happens in September what’s your prediction for this fight? Plant gets a beat down I'm not sold on Plant - either with regards to pop or durability, so I'd reckon Canelo KO/TKO before 10 as Plant tires due to the body shots.
Will Canelo retire undefeated?
I personally felt GGG and BJS were going to be his biggest tests and he passed them. Don't see anyone being able to beat him. He develops a game plan for every opponent and makes adjustments on his feet in fights.
I think he could beat Beterbiev, but Bivol would smash him. Really really bad.
Beterbiev would crush him. I would favour Bivol over him but it’s a much more competitive fight due to their respective styles.
r/kansas - Senator Marshall hard at work for the People of Kansas
Dr Seuss' estate (not a publisher, the actual people who own the rights to his books) decided to stop publishing six of his books because some of those old drawings are racist. The usual types are blathering about "cancel culture" and making a show of reading Dr Seuss books in public spaces. Of course, they aren't reading from the books in question ("If I Ran The Zoo" and "To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street" are the most notable).
What next for Sergey Kovalev?
Where does he go from here? Retirement or does he take those 2 fights on DAZN as per plan?
Shots fired: Derevyanchenko calls out Canelo and Charlo.
Derevyanchenko has said if no GGG next then he wants either Canelo after Kovalev or Charlo after Hogan. Will both fighters accept or duck?
SHOTS FIRED!! Lara calls out Spence
After Lara wrecking Alvarez in 2 rounds last night he's called out Spence. Anybody think it'll happen? Will Spence bite ?
Jermell Charlo calls out Floyd.
"I'd definitely take that tune-up fight with Floyd," Charlo told TMZ Sports. "But, he ain't gonna step in there with no savage like myself." Charlo gave Mayweather some safer options. "Go back and fight that old Manny Pacquiao again ... or get a rematch with Conor," Charlo said. Shots fired....
Khan at 147 in the mid to late 90's.
How does he go against the top tier welterweight fighters from the mid to late 90's? Oscar de la Hoya Tito Trinidad Ike Quartey Jose Luis Lopez Oba Carr James Page De La Hoya, Trinidad and Quatey all knock Khan out, no way couldhe take their punches.
People's take on Spence v Garcia?
We all know that Garcia has been talking a lot about fighting guys that haven't materialised for whatever reason. We all know about him shouting or talking about Spence at the end of the year. For the Spence fans out there are you pumped for the fight?
What to make of Del Boy Chisora.
Excellent weekend of heavyweight fights/action, big props to Chisora for not only the fight but the KO. My main question is this....where has this win placed him in today's mismatch heavyweight landscape? Chisora was beaten by Vitali, KTFO by Haye, got jobbed in a fight with Whyte which he should have got the decision and now has knocked Takam TFO something AJ never looked like doing.
Top 10 at 147 with the arrival of Terry Crawford.
With the arrival of the now 3 weight world champion in Terry Crawford just wondering how everyone' top 10 at 147 looks at this moment in time. Mine, 1. Spence jr 2. Thurman 3. Garcia 4. Crawford 5. Porter 6. Figueroa jr 7. Matthysse 8. Horn 9. Pacquaio 10.
