I think the only way any of them become the nominee is if serious Republican money cedes the election to Joe Biden. THAT is how any of those five get the nomination.

Response to Omaha Steve (Original post) Sat Jul 23, 2022, 10:17 AM 2. Wes Moore I have lived in MD for almost 40 years and never heard of him. I hope he can win because the Dem establishment spent big money supporting Cox. The last time they ran a POC for governor we wound up with Hogan and MD has a long history of electing Republican governors. Against Hogan they ran a very poor campaign so lets hope they do better this time. Being supported by Hoyer is not a big plus either.

South Dakota attorney general impeached over fatal crash

(AP) — The South Dakota House on Tuesday impeached state Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg over a 2020 fatal crash in which he initially told authorities he thought he had struck a deer or another large animal. Ravnsborg will at least temporarily be removed from office pending the historic Senate trial, where it takes a two-thirds majority to convict on impeachment charges.
