Away days for less than a tenner (plus hand luggage)
You probably know Prague as the boozy city break loved by British teenagers and stag do-goers alike. But did you know you could also attend a game at one of four Prague first division teams for less than the cost of two pints in Oxford? Cheap football getaways are gaining popularity; social media is filled with people heading to Poland, Germany, and even Lithuania, watching games for a fraction of the price of one Premier League ticket.
In conversation with Oli Dugmore, the mind behind PoliticsJOE
Oli Dugmore, known best as the mind behind PoliticsJOE, echoes many of the views young, disillusioned voters hold. He mostly spends his time podcasting, editing, and sourcing the perfect viral clip. Speaking in favour of the motion were Nancy Pelosi, the first female Speaker of the House, and Oli Dugmore, editor of PoliticsJOE. Secretary Rachel Haddad of Balliol College also spoke in favour of the motion.

Beyond just academics and number of quads, do the often ill- or uninformed college choices we make on our university applications significantly affect our ‘Oxford experience’? Does your college have a popular bar or JCR? How are the sports teams (or lack thereof)? How social and expensive are your accommodation(s) and (formal) hall? Many (or all) of these questions are often only made apparent once your college choice is locked in.So, what exactly is the problem, or is it even one at all?
