Forget a love triangle. ‘Sterling Point’ is a love story about sisters
It’s no secret Amazon Prime is killing it with young adult romances in 2026. It feels like every other week brings another binge-worthy original, and “Sterling Point,” released Aug. 5, is no exception. Produced by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, the duo behind “The O.C.” and “Gossip Girl,” “Sterling Point” has a little bit of everything: comedy, grief, family drama, multigenerational conflict, romance and, most importantly, sisterhood.

Depending on the day, my favorite song was “Slow Jamz,” “Paranoid,” or “All Falls Down.” On Aug.

Victoria’s Secret: Time to let wings go
After a six-year hiatus, the infamous Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returns. This was the first show since it was canceled in 2019 after the company faced backlash and controversy for the show’s lack of body positivity and transgender representation. Some former VS models, like Jasmine Tookes and Adriana Lima, made their return as “angels.” Fresh faces were featured as well, like Ashley Graham and nominee for 2024 Model of the Year, Alex Consani. The Hadid sisters were also present on the runway.

TikTok shop chamoy pickle kit, honestly
If you’re anything like me, your entire TikTok page has been filled with videos of people trying the infamous Big Tex Chamoy Pickle Kits. Chamoy is a typical condiment found in Mexico, made from apricot, plum and mango, topped with chilies, salt and lime juice. A chamoy pickle kit consists of a packaged pickle with Tajín, chamoy sauce, Takis, watermelon sour dust, sour straws and a Fruit Roll-Up. This may sound like an extremely odd combination — why would I purchase it in the first place?
