Contributing on African Cinema to a site that focused on African film at home and in the diaspora.

By writing which can be followed up by a phone call after i have understood what is required.

Why did you become a journalist?

I saw there were a lot of things to be said about, film and film-making, and nobody was saying them.

NO.

Love what you do and the field you write about.

When its a good story to write about.

What's the best pitch you ever got?

Was asked to write about the effect a few indie films could have on the evolution of Nollywood, if the momentum was maintained .

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

That those who write about film and film critics are haters or jealous failed filmmakers.
