How is social media changing news?

It's added a pace to news - things are reported on via Twitter by bystanders before they hit the news outlets. It's exciting but scary.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Presenting news, information and opinions in a way that makes sense to your audience, making clear distinctions between the three.

Why did you become a journalist?

I wanted to tell stories -where I focus on film and music, if that means telling stories about art forms that tell stories, then so be it.

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

I'm obsessed with Teen Vogue features.
