What was your first job as a journalist?
I started as a political commentator in the Norwegian newspaper “Aftenposten”, where I expressed my political opinion on domestic and foreign affairs in Norwegian policy on a weekly basis.

Yes, with pride.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To me, being a journalist means to provide broad coverage based on facts and originality. In a time of political unrest and fake news, this is more important than ever. Being a journalist people can believe are speaking the true is important to me.
What's your favorite social network?
I try to reach people as a journalist on Twitter, privately I prefer Facebook.
Who do you wish followed you?
When I see politicians and central members of Europe's royal families follow`s, I am always happy. This means that I do something important people consider to be significant and worth reading.
Why did you become a journalist?
I have always been politically active with a special interest in foreign-politics, national defence and monarchy as a political institution. Writing, both debate posts, historical articles and news articles have always been a hobby. Therefore, it was natural for me to engage more and more in journalism.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Professional high-level coverage of the monarchy as political institution and the importance work done by royal people is important. When I write about this, I feel that I help to shed light on something more than royal fashion and scandals.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
As a journalist, I am out and photographing the Norwegian royal family. As an private person, I spend a lot of my time in libraries and archives for historical studies.
