Publicerad 03:00 NEW YORK. Otto Wallin, 35, blev brutalt knockad i natt, svensk tid.
The World's Most Famous Arena”.
Otto Wallin Want His Date With Dillian Whyte
Otto Wallin was all set and supposed to fight Dillian Whyte back in October of 2021, only for Whyte to pull out of the fight with an injury. Wallin was angry, while Whyte went into a far bigger fight with Tyson Fury. Now, Sweden’s Wallin wants to reschedule a date with Whyte. And as a comeback fight for Wallin, who is looking to bounce back after his stoppage loss to Anthony Joshua, a fight with Whyte makes sense.
Wallin Owns Defeat, Acknowledges AJ's Improvement After Gritty Battle
Otto Wallin offered no excuses for his sixth round stoppage loss to Anthony Joshua last Saturday night on December 23rd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Wallin, 33, feels that Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) has improved with new coach Ben Davison and is a different fighter now. The Swedish fighter Wallin (26-2, 14 KOs) admitted that he’d gone up against a better fighter on his best night in their headliner at the Kingdom Arena on the ‘Day of Reckoning’ card.
AJ Resurrected: Joshua Crushes Wallin In Riyadh, Reignites Title Hopes: Boxing Results
Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) proved his doubters wrong with a solid victory, beating Otto Wallin (26-2, 14 KOs) by a fifth round retirement on Saturday night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The victory for Joshua was bittersweet because he’s no longer going to be facing Deontay Wilder in March as previously planned due to the Bronze Bomber’s loss to Joseph Parker tonight. Instead, Joshua is looking at potentially fighting Filip Hrgovic next, which won’t be for the same kind of money.
Malignaggi Drops Bomb: Wallin Needs KO To Win, Judges Favor AJ
Paulie Malignaggni believes Otto Wallin’s only path to victory on Saturday night is by knocking out Anthony Joshua because they want the AJ vs. Deontay Wilder fight to take place next in March. They’re not going to let Joshua lose to Wallin by a decision to mess that fight up, which puts Otto in a tough situation where he’s going to need to knock out Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) if he’s to win.
Joshua's Wrecking Ball MIA? Can He Reclaim His Missing Aggression Against Wallin?
Anthony Joshua needs to be the old wrecking ball that he once was when he takes on the upset-minded Otto Wallin this Saturday night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The old bum-rushing AJ has gone missing in action, and he needs to bring it back if he doesn’t want the hungry wolf-like Wallin to wear him and send what’s left of his career into oblivion.
The Calm Before The Storm: Joshua's Tension Vs. Wallin's Swagger In Saudi Arabia
Otto Wallin looked relaxed today, enjoying his final press conference with an intense, troubled-looking Anthony Joshua ahead of their fight this Saturday night on December 23rd. Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) had the appearance of someone who is trying hard to intimidate, like it’s the last thing he has to hide his vulnerability, and it’s so utterly transparent. AJ resembled an actor on stage, posing and failing to convince anyone.
Grim Tidings For AJ: Bob Arum Predicts Wallin Upset, Warns Of Wilder Fight Fading Into Desert Mirage
Bob Arum believes former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has bit off more than he can chew picking Otto Wallin as his opponent and is heading towards defeat when they meet in the main event this Saturday, December 23rd, on ESPN & DAZN PPV in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Joshua Predicts Knockout, But Should He Play It Safe?
Anthony Joshua says he’s laser-focused for Saturday night, predicting a knockout win over his former sparring partner Otto Wallin in their headliner on the ‘Day of Reckoning’ card in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Joshua is still mentally reeling from his three losses, seeming agitated and disturbed today while talking to the press about his fight this Saturday. The four days in a darkened room didn’t quiet Joshua’s mind because he seemed just as lost as he was before.
Anthony Joshua Vs. Otto Wallin: Date, Time, How To Watch
Anthony Joshua is strapping on his gloves to climb back to the top of the heavyweight boxing world, facing off against Otto Wallin in a huge DAZN PPV showdown in Saudi Arabia this Saturday. Joshua, the pride of Britain, has snagged a pair of victories this year, patching up his rep after those back-to-back title fight losses to the Oleksandr Usyk. Next up, AJ’s squaring up against Sweden’s tough guy, Otto Wallin, in an important fight for him.
Joshua Vs Wallin: Otto Wallin Looks Ahead To His Huge Showdown With Joshua At #DayOfReckoning
Carl Frampton from TNT Sports recently had a chat with Otto Wallin ahead of his massive showdown with Anthony Joshua in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. ‘Day of Reckoning’, Saturday 23rd December, as part of Riyadh season will be available live on TNT Sports Box Office and DAZN PPV Q: You are one of the most avoided heavyweights. Why do you think other heavyweights rarely mention your name? Otto Wallin: There are a couple of reasons.
Anthony Joshua - Otto Wallin Fight Will Have A Rematch Clause
Eddie Hearn has confirmed that the December 23 fight between Anthony Joshua and Otto Wallin will have a rematch clause, with the promoter saying the reason why is merely, “good business sense.” However, some AJ critics have suggested that if Joshua and his team feel the need to protect themselves with a rematch clause in this fight – and no disrespect to Wallin, but Joshua should be defeating guys like him – it shows his self-belief and confidence are not what they once were.

Will Anthony Joshua find redemption against Oleksandr Usyk? Otto Wallin weighs in
Anthony Joshua entered his fight last September with Oleksandr Usyk on a high. He had come off dominant wins over Kubrat Pulev and Andy Ruiz Jr. and was the favorite to continue his winning ways against his Ukrainian opponent. Usyk, the former undisputed cruiserweight champion, had only fought at the top weight class against Derek Chisora and Chazz Witherspoon and neither was a spectacular victory. Surely Usyk wouldn't be ready for such a step up, right?
Tyson Fury says he's retiring from boxing. I don't buy it
Being inside Wembley Stadium in London this past weekend for Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte was incredible. The atmosphere was crazy. There were 94,000 fans singing and cheering - mostly for Fury - as both fighters came out to the ring. It was very obvious who the fan favorite was. It gave me a lot of motivation to keep working towards that goal of becoming a champion and having big fights like that. Fury's knockout win in the sixth round was mostly what I expected to see, aside from the power.
What I learned about Tyson Fury in my 2019 title bout against him
For 36 minutes I was in the ring with Tyson Fury, going toe-to-toe with what some consider the best heavyweight boxer today. When I landed shots that opened a cut in the third round that night in 2019, there was a chance the doctor on-hand could have ended it early. But he persevered in the back half of that fight, stepping up his aggressiveness and pace and winning the bout by decision.
I went 12 rounds with Tyson Fury. Here's how Dillian Whyte can pull the upset
When I fought Tyson Fury in 2019, a match that went the full 12 rounds and saw Fury suffer cuts above his right eye before he won a decision, I was a massive betting underdog. Few gave me a shot to land punches, let alone win the bout. Dillian Whyte knows the feeling. Whyte - the longtime mandatory - will enter the ring on Saturday at Wembley Stadium in London with +400 (or 4-to-1) odds, according to BetMGM.
Deontay Wilder's inability to change, added weight spelled doom against Tyson Fury
Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III on Saturday night in Las Vegas, an 11th-round knockout victory for Fury, was really exciting for the sport of boxing. We need the best to fight each other, and having a bout like that - with five knockdowns between two of the top heavyweights in the world - was really amazing to see. It must have been electric at T-Mobile Arena, and it was for me in front of the TV screen. When Wilder came out, he showed that he really had a plan this time.

Anthony Joshua Called Out By Otto Wallin For UK Fight
Nasir Jabbar in Boxing Last updated 5:35 PM, Monday September 23 2019 GMT+1 Otto Wallin is eyeing Anthony Joshua for a UK fight and wants a rematch against Tyson Fury, claims his promoter. The Swede lost his unbeaten record to Fury but fought valiantly in his unanimous decision defeat, though his promoter is targetting a second meeting with the 'Gypsy King' as well as a bout versus Joshua. "Otto would be much better in the rematch.
Harry Redknapp Says This Is The Worst Manchester United Team In Premier League History
Ryan Sidle in Football Published 11:37 AM, Monday September 23 2019 GMT+1 Harry Redknapp added his name to the growling list of pundits saying the current Manchester United side is the worst in Premier League history, and doubt their top six credentials. Another weeknd and another embarrassing result for United. The latest, a 2-0 loss to West Ham, has led to a lot of criticism of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team and understandably so.
Barcelona And Real Madrid Have A Total Of Six Players In FIFPro World XI
Josh Lawless in Football Last updated 12:18 PM, Monday September 23 2019 GMT+1 This year's FIFPro World XI is to feature a total of six Barcelona and Real Madrid players despite both clubs underperforming. 55 players were in the frame on the initial shortlist but tonight at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Milan it will be whittled down to eleven based on the votes from over 23,000 FIFPro players. And according to Joaquin Maroto from AS, over half of the team are from La Liga's two big dogs.
