The reliability of a short scale PHQ-2 for screening depression among Pakistani medical students.
Abstract Objective: To investigate the reliability of a short scale i.e: PHQ-2 in medical students. Study Design: Cross-sectional Descriptive. Setting: Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur. Period: 25-10-23 to 25-11-23. Methods: 159 Pakistani medical college students were selected through convenience sampling technique.Participants completed two scales, namely the Patient Health Questionnaire-2 (PHQ-2) and the Beck Suicide Ideation Scale (BSSI).
The correlation between emotional abuse and depression leading towards suicidal ideation among women.
Abstract Objective: To determine the correlation between depression, emotional abuse and their impact upon suicidal intentions among women. Study Design: Cross Sectional study descriptive study. Setting: Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Science, Nishtar Medical University Multan. Period: 05-05-2022 to 05-10-2022. Material & Methods: 230 women were enrolled. Participants were screened by beck depression inventory (BDI), emotional abuse questionnaire (EBQ) and suicidal intention scale (BSI).

Setting: Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Nishtar Hospital Multan. Period: 5th March 2021 to 5th July 2021. One hundred twenty eight infertile couples were enrolled.
