Morrisons Makes Salad Bars Greener by Introducing 'Rentable Boxes'
The Refill a Box scheme is the first of its kind to be trialled by a UK supermarket. Each ‘rentable’ box will replace Morrisons large salad box and is made from fully recyclable polypropylene. The boxes are designed to be used 400 times to prevent disposable plastic containers from being used. France bans plastic packaging for most fruits and vegetables
France has banned the use of plastics to package most fruit and vegetables. The ban came into effect on Saturday under new regulations that French President Emmanuel Macron’s government says are meant to phase out single-use plastics as pollution worsens globally. Under the new rules, leeks and carrots, tomatoes and potatoes, apples and pears and about 30 other items can no longer be sold in plastic. Instead, they should be wrapped in recyclable materials.

Purdys Chcolatier created a holiday box of chocolates this Christmas with both a braille label and a braille legend for the chocolates inside.
Schreiner MediPharm Develops Fixation Aid for Ease and Safety of Handling Luer Adapters
Schreiner MediPharm’s solution specifically developed for glass syringes consists of a plastic ring that is pushed on to the Luer adapter. The ring interlocks with the Luer adapter so that the different radii of the adapter and the syringe body are equalized. The plastic ring and the syringe body are subsequently connected with each other by means of a label to firmly fix the Luer adapter in place. This results in an extended label area offering ample space for additional product information.
