To the Editor, We read with considerable interest the study by Mirallié et al. evaluating postoperative radiotherapy confined to the primary tumor bed in patients with pT3–T4 pN0 oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma following an adequate neck dissection [1]. The authors reported a regional control rate of 96%, with only three nodal recurrences, all occurring in association with extensive local relapse, and no isolated neck failures.
