Grand Theft Auto V
Exploring the city, 1% at a time The Good + When you die, you do not lose any of your weapons and ammunition. You only lose some cash. If you invest most of your money in the stock market, the amount of money lost is minimal. Police wanted levels can be easily cleared. I once got four stars, and I simply hid in an alley for two minutes, and the four stars immediately vanished. Police doesn't scare you ONE BIT.
WarioWare: Smooth Moves
The Good WarioWare: Smooth Moves is stylish, whimsical, and most importantly very funny. I was compelled to race through the single player with the utmost of my skill, intent on opening up the annoyingly locked multiplayer, and instantly became engrossed with the excellent humour. My face constantly in a smile, I hardly noticed the barely two hours it took from Indiana Jones beginning to ET ending.
Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box
The Good I have to admit: at first I was pissed off. In contrast to the predecessor, it is not possible to change the language and I had to play the game in German. I can't stand this! Thankfully the localization is well made and I never had problems with puzzles because of bad translation. In comparison to the predecessor, I felt the puzzle quality was improved.
Donkey Kong Country Returns
The Good Just like the original Donkey Kong Country looked very good for the SNES, this new installment in the franchise looks really good for the Wii. This is not only limited to the graphics, you will often see very good cinematic effects like explosions and chain-reactions and you can also be fired into the background to continue platforming there. Every world has it's own theme and every stage of every world has it's own obstacles.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
The Good In 2006, Nintendo finally unleashed their latest console on the public, with strong first party support at launch. Of course, everyone got to play Wii Sports, but after everyone was all done swinging, batting, and hitting invisible objects with their newfangled controllers, only two critically acclaimed titles remained on the shelf. One of them was The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
Metroid Fusion (2002) - MobyGames
The Good Imagine a gameplay screen. Imagine all the different things that can be displayed on such a screen. Now, Metroid Fusion decided to do something epic and fill that screen with crumbling blocks. These are ominous symbols of desolation and sorrow. What Samus has to do is either Space Jump like there's no tomorrow, or remain in a Shinesparking state and run past these blocks. There is also symbolism in this. Some of these rooms require very extensive use of the Shinespark technique.
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition
The Good Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition is a much superior version to the original Dark Souls. I've played both versions. The Prepare to Die Edition can load the game save files of both versions and fixed a game-breaking bug in the original game for me. I'm very glad that this edition exists. So to start the review, I'll talk about the symbolism first. There are deep philosophical concepts in Dark Souls that I won't soon forget. They are most notably represented in colors: black, white, grey.
