I started as a reporter with Kashmir Times, the oldest English daily in Jammu and Kashmir under the guidance of Anuradha Bhasin Jamwal.
How is social media changing news?
It has certainly expanded the reach of news to everyone's fingertips. The impact is magnified and so the harm fake news does is more as well
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Microsoft Words is the main tool for all the writing. My camera is always with me. Microsoft Excel, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, Audacity etc
Why did you become a journalist?
To tell stories that matter by traveling to places that don't get much attention in mainstream media.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Pitch anytime.

Travelling to unexplored destinations with my camera, to find stories and capture visuals that accompany those tales.
