I worked for a law firm that not only protected pedophile priests/bishops in MD, but also moved them to remote sanitariums before they could be charged. And hired PR firms when the charges came. I had to sign a NDA to work there; it's been 30+ years, so I don't know if it's still enforceable. Every day, one of my job duties was to scour the Internet for new stories about Catholic clergy abuse.
