What was your first job as a journalist?
My first job as a journalist was with In These Times magazine in Chicago as an editorial intern responsible for fact-checking articles.
When's the best time to pitch you?
In the morning hours.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Almost certainly outside somewhere, whether that be exploring the confines of a city or out in nature enjoying the world.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
I love reading Plaza Pública in Guatemala and Verdad Abierta in Colombia, which constantly publish impactful in-depth pieces.
