Selective transport of plasma-derived reactive species through the plant aquaporin channels: a molecular dynamics study
Abstract The selective permeability of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS), generated by cold atmospheric plasma (CAP), through plant aquaporins was investigated to identify plasma-derived species capable of intracellular delivery. Using atomistic molecular dynamics and enhanced sampling methods, we quantified the free energy profiles of eight RONS (HNO3, HO2, cis-HNO2, trans-HNO2, N2O4, NO, NO2, and O3) across the PIP2;1 aquaporin channel embedded in a lipid bilayer.

Effect of Electric Field on α-Synuclein Fibrils: Revealed by Molecular Dynamics Simulations
Abstract : The self-association of amylogenic proteins to the fibril form is considered a pivotal factor in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson’s disease (PD). PD causes unintended or uncontrollable movements in its common symptoms. α-synuclein is the major cause of PD development and thus has been the main target of numerous studies to suppress and sequester its expression or effectively degrade it.
OpenCV Arithmetic Operations on Images
Beginner Computer Vision Image Analysis Maths OpenCV Python This article was published as a part of the Data Science Blogathon. Introduction to OpenCV The images can be subjected to arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, and bitwise operations (AND, OR, NOT, XOR). These operations can help to improve the properties of the input images. Image arithmetic is necessary for analyzing the properties of the input image.
Image Contrast Enhancement Using CLAHE
This article was published as a part of the Data Science Blogathon. ance for visual interpretation and (ii) facilitating/increasing the performance of subsequent tasks (e.g., image analysis, object detection, and image segmentation). Most contrast enhancement techniques rely on histogram modifications, which can be applied globally or locally. The Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) method overcomes the limitations of global approaches by enhancing local contrast.
Dropout Regularization in Deep Learning

Object detection lite : Template Matching
This article was published as a part of the Data Science Blogathon. Int Template matching is a high-level computer vision approach that detects image portions that match a predetermined template. Advanced template matching algorithms detect template occurrences regardless of orientation or local brightness. In medical image analysis, invariant characteristics or innovative applications are commonly used as object identification domains such as vehicle tracking, robotics, and manufacturing.
How to Train A Custom Object Detection Model with YOLOv7
This article was published as a part of the Data Science Blogathon. Intro of the most common jobs in computer vision is object detection. It is the foundation for comprehending and interacting with the scene. Object detection is used in everything from simple applications like detecting items to complicated jobs like self-driving automobiles to understand diverse scenarios and make judgments based on them.
Artificial Intelligence on Data Labelling
This article was published as a part of the Data Science Blogathon. Nowadays, it appears like everyone is working on artificial intelligence, but nobody ever discusses one of the most crucial components of every artificial intelligence project: Data labelling.
Image Classification Model trained using Google Colab
Beginner Computer Vision Deep Learning Image Analysis Python This article was published as a part of the Data Science Blogathon. Introduction ? Using labeled sample photos, ing is image classification. Raw pixel data was the only input for early computer vision algorithms. However, pixel data alone does not provide a sufficiently consistent representation to encompass the many oscillations of an item as represented in an image.
High Accuracy Lightweight and Superfast Model Nanodet Plus
This article was published as a part of the Data Science Blogathon. Introduction NonoDet – and anchor-free object detection model, and it’s working in real-time on mobile devices. Before getting into knowing about Nanodet, we should know about FCOS (Fully Convolutional One-Stage Object Detection). Since the invention of convolutional neural networks, anchor-based approaches like FasterRCNN, RetinaNet, and SSD have dominated the field of object detection.
Stop Storing Data in CSVs vs Feather
Beginner Datasets Libraries Python This article was published as a part of the Data Science Blogathon. the panda’s package to process and transfer data around when working on projects. It performs admirably on datasets of intermediate size. When our dataset has many observations, however, the process of storing and loading data grows slower, and each kernel eats your time, forcing you to wait until the data reloads. As a result, the CSV file format loses its appeal over time.
Become a Web 3 Developer in 2022
Beginner Blockchain Technology Web 3.0 This article was published as a part of the Data Science Blogathon. Introduction Web3 is acutting-edge technology that will transform our lives in a variety of ways. With the help of its smart contracts, Web3 is making an impact on society. Users will be able to acquire shares, transfer assets, and form businesses without the need for a middleman thanks to these contracts. But, in 2022, how do you become a web3 developer?
How Activation Functions Work in Deep Learning
Let's start with a definition of activation function: Sounds a little complicated? Don’t worry! After reading this article, you will have a better understanding of activation functions. In humans, our brain receives input from the outside world, performs processing on the neuron receiving input and activates the neuron tail to generate required decisions.
