Toshiba BDX2100, regionfree DVD and multiregion BD
#1 If anyone is still interested, there is now a regionfree firmware also for the Toshiba BDX2100. Download the regionfree firmware file (8530_linux_demo_dbg.bin) and copy it to a USB-stick in a folder called UPG_ALL. Put the USB-stick in the player and go to Upgrade in the Setup Menu. Select 'Upgrade from USB'. .. and for those of you who want to do the upgrade from a CD. Download the iso image (BDX2100-RF.ISO)from the link below. Burn it as it is as an image to a CD.

Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes Sequel (2027)
Drax1 Outstanding Member #1 Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes starts a new trilogy set roughly 300 years after War of the Planet of the Apes. www.comingsoon.net Not remotely surprised by this - Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes is the beginning of a new trilogy. Should the first deliver big box office, I'd imagine the next one will appear within a couple of years.
Your Favourite Decade?!
My sincere apologies if this has already been asked. In which case, mods please delete. I’m 52 now, so I’ve witnessed a few decades. Well, a few decades on and I’ve had time to reflect. My favourite decade so far is. . . The 80s. And I’ll happily tell you why. 80s music was generally brilliant. What I Loved most about the 80s was the emergence of technology. We had the Sony Walkman, VCR video and video game consoles were taking hold.
Question - Your Best Decade?!
#5 90's for me, late teens early twenties, great music, always out and about with my mates, pubs, clubs, pool, bowling, random road trips and Kick Off tournaments on the Amiga A500! Ahhhhh good times
Majority D40X Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers Review & Comments
#2 I’d hoped we’d seen the end of the heinous yellow Kevlar when B&W finally and belatedly abandoned it. Apart from that, it’s hard to argue with anything at this price. The only competition is Edifier. And they are very good. The all black look better too (imo) Last edited: AVI Trios and Lyngdorf TDAi 1120 + two BK XLS200s. #3 Always interesting to me to see what can be achieved with a tight budget.

Sennheiser Ambeo Mini Soundbar Review & Comments
#2 Thanks for the review Simon But Sennheiser: we don’t want another soundbar, we want rear speakers! I feel like someone buying an Amber over Sonos doesn’t care much for budget, so the plus is probably fine, but you’re limiting the customer base by only having the soundbar and a subwoofer. It’s why I went ARC last year over the Amber Plus. If I've commented on a classified, please tag me in your reply as I sometimes forget to subscribe to threads.
Guildford Cathedral. The Omen

#1 Movie Review Co-ordinator The Best Blu-ray and Movie Resource AVForums Movie Reviews Bookmark it now! My opinions expressed here are not necessarily those of the AV Forums or the associated websites #2 Hi, My wife and I saw this Friday night. We are both surprised it got a 7 in the Review as we both thought it was a 5 at the most. The story is quite thin, many of the scenes are filmed in near darkness and it begs the question why the two main characters don't speak the same language.
