Aba Daba (2002) - MobyGames
Description official description Aba Daba is a variant of the classic Gomoku board game which is also known under the name Five in a Row. It is a game for two players (or in this case player against AI) which both have distinguishing symbols, e.g. one uses stars and the other uses balls. The contestants alternately place one of their items on the game field; the goal is to place five of them in a row. The lines may be horizontal, vertical or diagonal. The one who makes five in a row first wins.

Each country has five activities which are reached by clicking on one of the gang members: The tiger: he tells a story intersected by small puzzles, e.g. clicking on the correct item. The badger: The player has to match a given item, e.g. a word or a melody, with the associated picture on screen. There are two difficulty levels available.
Band Hero (2009) - MobyGames
This version of Band Hero is more of a successor to the Guitar Hero: On Tour games than a port of Band Hero. The game includes 45 pop songs. Two tracks are identical to those from the console version, while some artists are present in both versions, albeit with different songs. The tracklist of the US and European versions differ: both share 15 songs, but each have 30 unique tracks. The band consists of four artists (vocals, guitar, bass and drums) and the player takes control over one of them.
Bloody Zombies (2007) - MobyGames
Taking its cue from a notorious scene courtesy of director Peter Jackson's zombie splatterfest Dead Alive, this game puts the player in control of a man striving to collect keys and progress through levels by exploiting a radical new gameplay mechanism -- releasing some gory red fluid contained under high pressure in shambling zombies with the assistance of a lawn mower, then maneuvering through the slurry (sometimes with propulsion assistance from the mower blades) to gain access to higher...
Front Office Football 2001
A non-graphic, detailed simulation of owning and managing an NFL franchise, including roster decisions, financial decisions, and in-game playcalling. Like other managerial sports games, FOF offers realistic financial rules and models. Salary caps, trading and drafting rules, and collective bargaining requirements are all faithfully modelled. Even blackmailing a city to buy you a new stadium is modelled.
In the year 1997, the maniacal Dr. Proton has developed mechanical creatures known as Techbots. Commanding an army of Techbots, the insane scientist intends to conquer the entire world. There is only one hero on Earth who can stop him with his guns and attitude: Duke Nukum. Based on the same game engine as Crystal Caves, Duke Nukum, Episode 1: Shrapnel City is a side-scrolling shooter with platform elements.
4K Adventure (1998) - MobyGames
4K Adventure is an interactive fiction game set in a fantasy universe. The player takes role the black dwarf Grimbis who needs to recover a magical orb which was stolen by elves. Atlantica Online
Atlantica Online is an online RPG with one big twist: the fights are turn-based! It is a free-to-play title which means it can be downloaded and played free of charge. It finances itself by selling in-game items and licenses which are not required to beat the game. Licenses are mostly comfort functions which are limited in time, e.g. a teleportation license allows the user to teleport to already visited places for 30 days.
The Good This is a fun game to waste a few hours on. The plot is extremely simple (as it was for Reality Bites' second game, Dark Vengeance), but all that really matters is the arcade style and action. You get your choice of three separate tanks, one that favors speed, one armor, and the final a mix. You then blast through worlds until you are able to access the jump gate to the next level.
Players Average score: 1.9 out of 5 (based on 3 ratings with 1 reviews) Flying a plane with no windows. The Good It's not as scary as it sounds. Yes, having no visual references turns everything harder on a flight simulator (at least for me) but that's just what makes Jetset interesting. It's like riding a bicycle with no hands. The only visible scenery is seen during take off, as you can actually see the runway represented in ASCII.
KetnetKick (2004) - MobyGames
This educational game has been developed for the Dutch spoken Belgian youth station Ketnet and requires a broadband connection. Decontrologic (2006) - MobyGames
Decontrologic is a very short adventure game. You play as an unnamed man who just started the first day at his new job. Soon, it becomes apparent that it's annoyingly hot in the building, and you have to fix it. Controlling your character is very simple: the left and right arrows move him left and right, while the up arrow allows him to interact with other people and objects.

Puyo Pop (2001) - MobyGames
Sega's first excursion into the Puyo Puyo series since the bankruptcy of the series's original developer Compile finds Satan (once again) up to no good. He has scattered five golden runes and handed each one to a different character in the Puyoverse. Our hero Arle isn't aware of this - until her pet Carbuncle runs for the runes! Now Arle must find the five runes and recover her friend - all at the same time.
El Grande (2004) - MobyGames
El Grande is the official Windows translation of the complex eponymous board game. The setting is Spain of the 15th century. The basic rules: Spain is divided into several districts. To gain power in a district the players have to send caballeros into it. The most important character is the king because the district he has occupied is taboo for all other players. There are two kind of cards: power cards and action cards.
Basic Math (1977) - MobyGames
The Good This game is loved for its simplicity; as one of the first Atari games to be released out there, this one is the simplest, most basic of all. All you do is move around the block to solve the operation (adding, subtracting, multiply, divide, etc...). Nothing really mind-blowing, but it's just plain fun to resolve simple operations. I'd spend hours playing this game and never get tired of it; The Bad People will complain that it's an electronic version of what the were taught in first grade.
Blackjack (1977) - MobyGames
The Good Very little. When I was done playing it. When it was over. That was the best part. The Bad With something as simple as blackjack, which requires no AI or strategy on the part of the computer, how could, one ask, they possibly get it wrong? Here's how: This game employs a variant of blackjack rules that is so extremely unfavorable to the player, that it would almost certainly never be seen in a real casino because no one would be willing to play.
Pizza Commander (2006) - MobyGames
In Pizza Commander the player takes control over Eddie, a housefly which wants to make pizzas. In the 15 levels the pizza base is already done and Eddie just needs to get fixings like cheese or tomatoes. These are floating all over the room. Now Eddie simply has to fly to them grab them (his backpack can hold up to three ingredients) and fly back to the pizza until he has everything he needs.
Martian Threat (2008) - MobyGames
Martians are attacking the Earth and planning to destroy all life in it. A Martian space ship is orbiting the earth and a big laser cannon is being built on Earth and it is the player's mission to hold the Martian threat until the laser cannon is complete. To do so, the SIDO (Space Intruder Defense Organisation) infiltrated a fighting probe inside the Martian spaceship. In Martian Threat the player controls a fighting probe with the joystick.
Handball Manager 2008: Das Original
Handball Manager 2008: Das Original is a managerial simulation of handball where the player is responsible for the financial and athletic success of his team. Regarding gameplay and options it is similar to soccer managers. The player has several options to his disposal, e.g. training, tactics, lineup, stadium expansion or player transfers. The players are represented with a ability score and several other personal traits which influence their performance and training needs.
NBA Live 09 (2008)
NBA Live 09 is a simulation of the basketball sport. As usual the player controls the athletes himself and tries to perform typical basketball maneuvers. The player can choose between a full season, play-offs, the FIBA World Championship or the Dynasty mode were the player takes the role of the executive of a basketball team which means he has to grapple with managerial tasks like transfers or training. Unique to the PSP version is that the game tracks all the player's accomplishments.
Attack (1982) - MobyGames
The Good Well, I don't like Apple, so this game really fit me well. It is also pretty fun. What you do is try to destroy the Apple manufacturing plants and avoid their ships. You can choose to dodge them or shoot them with your lasers, although you have a rather limited supply The controls are also decent. Although I do forget to use the brake button while moving, they are good. Back in the good days of PCs, there were no sound cards. No Ad Lib, no Sound Blaster, no nothing. There was the PC Speaker.
Jesus of Nazareth
The classic text adventure game structure involves a treasure hunt of sorts, collecting exceptional or valuable objects and amassing them in some central repository. This is a game in much the same fashion, except that instead of objects, you recruit party members. Oh yes, and did I mention: it's 28 AD, your name is "Jesus", and your party members are the apostles?
Carrier Command: Gaea Mission (Demo Version)
Description Carrier Command: Gaea Mission (Demo Version) is the demo version of Carrier Command: Gaea Mission and features two exclusive missions which basically serve as an alternative tutorial. With the help of the faceless Demo Guide, the player leads attacks on the islands Thermopylae and Granite and learns about the playing mechanics. While the first mission is strictly action-based combat, the second introduces some tactical elements. The playing mechanics are identical to the main game.
Citizen X (2002) - MobyGames
In Citizen X the player takes the role of a secret agent recruited off the street and placed in direct confrontation with an elite terrorist organization. The player has 15 minutes to disarm a bomb and save the city. The game is mostly a side-view platformer, but there are many points where FMV will cut in that may have something to do with the area that the player is in.
LEGO Bionicle (2001) - MobyGames
Cancelled sequel Another game based on the Bionicle series was supposed to be released for Windows, which would have some form of connection with its Gameboy Advance cousin. Unfortunately, the game was canceled due to production difficulties. Title The term "Tohunga" was later replaced by "Matoran" after complaints of the Maori, native people of New-Zealand. Information also contributed by Qlberts

2112: A Field Trip
Development of the game began in early 2000 under QuickBasic, but the author quickly ran up against a wall; in early 2001 new Visual Basic 6 skills were put to use and the first beta version of the game was ready on August 26th -- a luxurious amount of wiggle room for IFComp entries, judging of which begin October 1st. Ultimately, it placed 24th (out of 51 entries), a midway placing assuredly depressed by its unpopular use of a homebrew text parser.
Magic Tales: Liam Finds a Story
"Liam Finds a Story" is the fifth part of the "Magic Tales" series. It is based on Irish fantasy tales. A little country boy called Liam receives an unexpected visit from a witch, who says that she will only leave if he tells her a story she has never heard before. Liam travels through the fairy land and received help from a leprechaun he had saved. This enables him to safely return home and tell a true story about his adventures, for which he is rewarded.
The Lost Dimension
Description This homebrew typing-optional .NET text adventure, apparently inspired by the graphical interfaces of Legend's adventures and games developed using the Quest system, pits the player as an apparent sole survivor of a passenger jet crash on to a dangerous Caribbean isle in the Bermuda Triangle.
