What was your first job as a journalist?
My first official job was with the Cullman Times.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Fisher Space Pen, memo notebook, Sony a7, and a laptop

Why did you become a journalist?
I like the idea of being a voice for my community.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I was asked to, but the fear of being recruited to write for the school's quarterly poetry newsletter kept me from doing so.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime.
What's your favorite drink?
Diet Mtn. Dew
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Playing guitar. Or at a plant store that my wife wanted to go to.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
Pretty much anything NPR as far as news goes.
