In this special, Chappelle made statements such as “Every human being in this room, every human being on Earth, had to pass through the legs of a woman to be on Earth.” Some people in the pro-science party had a problem with that. There were all kinds of hysterical reactions in the media and online. Crackpots like Alejandra Caraballo and Chase Strangio said that Dave Chappelle’s jokes would lead to a trans genocide. Netflix employees tried to stage a massive protest (emphasis on tried).

The Stupid Spectacle of January 6

Today is the third anniversary of January 6. Thrills. On one side, people say January 6 was no big deal at all. The other side says it was the second coming on 9/11 and an elaborate attempt to assassinate all of Congress. As often is, the truth is somewhere in the middle. The rioters that day were wrong to enter the capitol. Republicans do themselves no favors by saying they were “just tourists”.
