I'm a Digital Photo Editor at the Denver Post, producing photo galleries and occasional videos. I help curate our photo blog and edit the nation/world section of the printed paper.
I joined the Post in 2012, after receiving my master's degree in photojournalism and design from Ohio University's School of Visual Communication in Athens, Ohio. Before graduate school, I interned as a photojournalist at The Peoria Journal Star in Peoria, Illinois, The Hutchinson News, in Hutchinson, Kansas, and The Dispatch and the Rock Island Argus in Moline, Illinois. I earned my undergraduate degree in 2008 from the College of Media at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
As a photographer, I've covered stories across the United States and abroad. I participated in the 2012 American Diversity Project workshop and the 2013 Kalish Workshop. I'm also a member of the board of directors of the Associated Press Photo Managers (APPM).
