Paul Adepoju is a global health and science journalist covering biomedical research, infectious diseases, health systems, access to medicines, health financing and the politics of global health. His work has appeared in Devex, The Lancet, Nature, Scientific American, New Scientist, CNN, Health Policy Watch, BMJ and other international outlets.
A scientist-turned-journalist, Paul holds a PhD in Cell Biology and Genetics from the University of Ibadan. His reporting often examines how scientific breakthroughs, policy decisions and funding choices affect people.
Paul is a UN Foundation Polio Reporting Fellow, a board member of the Association of British Science Writers, and host of Paul Talks Science Podcast, a Webby-nominated health and science podcast. He has also worked across editorial, communications and community engagement roles, including with Harvard Public Health Magazine and the International Center for Journalists.
