Social media allows for information and news to be accessed at a faster rate to a wider range of people.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To inform and provide context to current events. Add a new perspective on people or events. Uncover things that go unnoticed.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I like to be told what the idea for the story and what avenue I should approach it. Is there an angle that seems to be missed?

Why did you become a journalist?
I felt that I had something to provide the public and wanted to make a difference in the world.
