Slik går årets eliteserie i bandy for herrer
DRAMMEN: Årets eliteserie for menn blir kanskje jevnere enn noensinne. To av favorittene møttes tirsdag i Superfinalen på Marienlyst. En rakkerrøkare av et hjørneslag fra Johan Mørch Andersen, betydde en kraftfull nettsuser og 3-2 seier til Drammen Bandy (NM-vinner) over regjerende seriemester Ready. Mesterlagene stiller litt annerledes enn sist sesong. Drammentrener Mathias Stavis har sluttet, og velkjente Anders Palmberg har tatt over sjefsrollen.
VM-sølv til lokale jenter
OSLO/DRAMMEN: Norge møtte favoritten Sverige i VM-finalen søndag på Bergbanen i Oslo. J17-jentene sjokkerte svenskene, og scoret kampens to første mål ved stortalentet på 15 år fra Ready, Marie Dregler Nordbø. Etter norsk ledelse ved pause, og et kanonstart med nok ett mål rett etter pausen, så kom de blå-gule bare sterkere og sterkere uover finalekampen. Sverige vant tilslutt fortjent 5-2.

Lokale jenter til junior-VM i bandy
DRAMMEN: Flere lokale jenter er med i VM-troppen, og Solbergs Dag Erik Amundsen er landslagssjef. De lokale er: Solberg: Selin S. Klem, Ida Edland Formo, Cerine Ludvigsen Moen og Helene Marie Skaret. Drammen Bandy: Hannah Martine Thim-Nordby og Ellen Ornum (hjemmeværende reserve) Drammens Ballklubb: Helin Budak. Alt kan skje Slik vurderer landslagssjef Dag Erik Amundsen neste helgs turnering på Bergbane i Oslo: - Sverige blir favoritter, men målet vårt blir en finalekamp.

When I started shooting LAX again in the late 90’s they were running their MD-11 here, followed by the A340-300 until now when they introduced this beautiful T73 on June 9th to LAX.
McDonnell Douglas MD-11F - EVA Air Cargo
As the EVA AIR Cargo MD-11 passes over the intersection of Sepulveda and Lincoln Blvd, she is a mere 7 seconds from TD on 24R. Below we can see a few tents of campers in the park, who probably have one of the best locations to view the airshow just a couple hundred feet (60M) above them. In addition, if you get hungry there are restaurants all along Sepulveda… Oh, and let’s not forget the In-N-Out just below the EVA’s nose. What a great burger! Local time is now 16:53PST.

In this shot you can see just how close the "Big Ones" come to you.
How far would you need to fall for it to be fatal?
There is no specific distance from which a person can fall and have it said they will survive or not survive. There are simply too many other variables that will dominate the factor of "distance." In 1971, flight attendant Vesna Vulović fell 33,333 ft (10,160 meters) and survived without a parachute. On the other hand 556,000 people died in 2013 from slip-and-fall accidents from essentially 0 ft.
