What was your first job as a journalist?

I worked at Hofstra University's newspaper, The Chronicle, laying out the copy.

How is social media changing news?

News has become ever present and immediate; however the life span of a news item is also becoming increasingly shorter.

What's your favorite social network?

My dinner table, surrounded by good friends and family.

Why did you become a journalist?

I'm not; I'm a PR person.
