Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yep. Learned to touch type on a manual typewriter at high school - it was a compulsary subject which ended up serving me well.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
By email, in the morning.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
The series of stories I did on the poor management of Australia's National Broadband Network
What's the best pitch you ever got?
Hard to say - I'd say the ones that work are timely with a good human interest angle.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
One pitching me about teenagers' fashion brands - the PR had my publications mixed up (Mumbrella vs Mamamia)
