Pavel Devyatkin’s Biography

Pavel Devyatkin is an analyst of international security and socioeconomic development. He is a Research Associate at the Arctic Institute: Center for Circumpolar Security Studies. Devyatkin’s peer-reviewed articles have been published by the U.S. Department of Defense, Responsible Statecraft, High North News, and the Arctic Institute.
He has been interviewed and/or quoted by the Süddeutsche Zeitung, TASS, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the U.S. Congressional Research Service, International Military Council on Climate and Security, the Georgetown University Center for Security Studies, the Norwegian Institute for International Affairs, and others.
Devyatkin holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree from University College London.
