Pavitra Utgikar

I’m a journalist based in Delhi, India. I’m a multimedia producer at NDTV, where I produce videos for the organisation’s digital media platforms. I am the producer of NDTV's CTRL ALT Defence podcast.

Apart from writing for the videos, I edit. My stories at NDTV primarily focus on the breaking news, world affairs and importantly, stories that matter.

I have previously been associated with the independent media organization, The Probe. I was a reporter and video editor for the organisation. My reportage at The Probe covered a range of topics including human rights, cybercrime, and medical negligence.

My professional interests lie in covering public interest stories, with a strong commitment to informing the public and providing a platform to often ignored voices. As a storyteller, I am driven by facts, creative nonfiction writing and data.
