Pavlos Fyssas – murdered in the street by neo-nazis Thirteen years ago today, Pavlos Fyssas was murdered on a street in Keratsini, a working-class suburb of Athens. Fyssas, a 34-year-old rapper known as Killah P, was a vocal opponent of fascism and racism. In the early hours of 18 September 2013, he was confronted by a group of supporters of the neo-nazi Golden Dawn party. Within minutes, Fyssas was bleeding to death on the pavement.
Ilias Kasidiaris released from prison Ilias Kasidiaris, one of the most prominent figures in Greece’s neo-nazi Golden Dawn, walked free from prison today and is already planning a return to fascist activism. Kasidiaris has spent almost six years behind bars after being convicted in 2020 of directing a criminal organisation.
