#RWAClasses Writing the Second Acts Romance #seasonedromance
Do you like a good second acts romance to read? Don’t know what that is? It’s a romance with the hero and heroine and supporting characters 35+ in age. Many of you may have heard of the romance genre LATER IN LIFE or Seasoned romance. That’s was a second acts romance is. Romance for people in the second, or even third act, of their lives! Most of my books these days involve characters 35+ and I’ve had a good deal of success writing about and for this age group.

New, in #kindlevella #childrensstory ACE & THE CAVE MYSTERY
There’s a new author on Kindle Vella that I want to help promote. Her name is Pearl Hunter and she writes middle-grade-aged books. Her debut novel/Vella just dropped today on the platform and is titled ACE & THE CAVE MYSTERY. The four protagonists are 11 years old and the setting is mid-1990s America. Here’s the blurb for some context: In a simpler time before cell phones and social media, a quartet of friends discover the true meaning of friendship.

Around The Fire Blog. Hosted by D.V. Stone
Thanks for stopping by my fire. We had a campfire last night and I made Paella. About fifteen people joined us to say goodbye to a few new friends as they headed home. The fire is a place of good food, good conversation, and good friends. I'm glad you're here to meet my fellow Wild Rose Press author. Say hi Jan, while I grab us a couple of beverages and tell our readers Who you are other than your bio? I am a widow.

The RONE Nominations are out and I’ve got 2 books given the nod!
Prestige is something every author dreams of. The InD’Tale annual RONE awards are one of the most prestigious awards in writing and this year I am lucky enough to be a double nominee! In the Suspense/Thriller Steamy category, book 2 in A PRIDE OF BROTHERS: AIDEN is a nominee. Here’s the amazing review that garnered me a Rone nod: Suspense-Thriller When Aiden Keane spots a redheaded bombshell flirting up a storm with a sleazeball in the airport bar, he can’t help but be intrigued.

A PRIDE OF BROTHERS: AIDEN is a Long and Short Reviews BEST BOOK!
March 24, 2022 · 3:48 am Every now and then something happens in my life that validates I’m doing the whole writing-thing correctly. Yesterday was one of those days. I received – quite unexpectedly – a BEST BOOK nod from a reviewer at Long and Short Reviews EZine. When I first saw the post and quickly glanced at it I noticed just 1 star in the header and my heart fell. I figured I’d really gotten it wrong with this book if a professional reviewer gave it such a low rating.
