Penny Bauder’s Biography
Penny has over ten years of experience as an environmental writer, editor, and publisher.
As a freelance writer, Penny has contributed to some of the most popular online media organizations. Recent contributions include articles in Entrepreneur, Authority Magazine and Thrive Global.
Penny has built a network of contacts and sources that include policymakers, press relations professionals, business leaders, scientists, NGOs and analysts involved in sustainable development, economics, and climate. Chosen as one of a select group of journalists by the Armenian foreign ministry, Penny toured Armenia to report on the country's emerging tech sector.
Penny is a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists and the founder of Green Kid Crafts, a a children’s media company that provides kids around the world with convenient and eco-friendly STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) activities. Today, it’s become a leader in the subscription industry, with over 1 million packages shipped worldwide that have exposed a generation to think about and take a leadership role in sustainability.
Penny holds a B.A. in Environmental Management and an M.S. in Environmental Science.
