Study protocol: Development and evaluation of an interpersonal counseling-based stratified stepped-care intervention for suicide prevention among children and adolescents: a randomized controlled trial
Background While suicide rates have stabilized or declined in many regions, there is a concerning global rise in non-fatal suicidal behaviors (STBs) among youth, placing immense strain on mental healthcare systems. This has resulted in a surge in youth psychiatric emergency department visits and a systemic crisis of extended wait times and low treatment engagement.
Acute toxicity and early PSA response after two-fraction stereotactic radiotherapy for localized prostate cancer using peri-rectal spacing - Initial report of the SABR-Dual trial - International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics
Abstract : SABR-Dual is a phase III trial with an initial phase-I safety cohort, of two-fraction stereotactic radiotherapy (SABR) with optional MRI-based focal boost, using peri-rectal spacing, for localized prostate cancer. This represents the initial report from the phase-I non-randomized cohort. : Subjects had favorable intermediate risk (FIR) or low risk (LR) prostate adenocarcinoma, and gland volume <80cc.
Bacterial Skin Dysbiosis in Darier Disease
Keywords: Microbiome, Darier disease, Staphylococcus, Peptoniphilus, Moryella The human cutaneous microbiome consists of a variety of microorganisms, including viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites. The four major bacterial phyla found on the skin are Actinobacteria (36–51%), Firmicutes (24–34%), Proteobacteria (11–16%), and Bacteroidetes (6–9%) [1].
International evaluation of an artificial intelligence-powered electrocardiogram model detecting acute coronary occlusion myocardial infarction
Patients with an acutely occluded or obstructive culprit coronary artery (acute coronary occlusion myocardial infarction, abbreviated as ‘OMI’), who will benefit from emergent reperfusion therapy, are currently identified on the basis of electrocardiographic ST-segment elevation [ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI)].1,2 However, the pathophysiology of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) due to thrombotic occlusive coronary stenosis is often dynamic and may impact electrocardiogram (ECG)...

SABR-Dual: a phase II/III trial of two-fraction versus five-fraction stereotactic radiotherapy for localized low- and favorable intermediate-risk prostate cancer | BMC Cancer | Full Text
The objective of this trial is to assess the oncologic and quality of life non-inferiority of 2-fraction SABR to 27 Gy compared to 5-fraction SABR to 40 Gy, in low- and favorable intermediate-risk prostate cancer. This is a prospective randomized phase II/III non-inferiority control trial with pre-planned interim analyses for safety signals in the 2-fraction arm.
The Role of Narrowed Spectrum Technologies and Dye-based Endoscopy in Inflammatory Bowel Disease: New Advances and Opportunities
ABSTRACT Endoscopic assessment of inflammation and mucosal healing is an important tool for the appropriate management of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). The current definition of mucosal healing using standard white-light endoscopy is being challenged because often histological activity which by itself correlates with clinical outcomes, is being observed.
