A graduate of New York Medical College, Dr. Peter Killcommons is a well-established expert in the fields of medical imaging, teleradiology, and telemedicine. He currently serves as the chief executive officer of Medweb, a San Francisco, California-based manufacturer of health care equipment and software, which provides technological support in areas of medical practice ranging from radiology and cardiology to dentistry and ophthalmology. Dr. Peter Killcommons has overseen daily operations at Medweb since founding the company in 1992.
Over the course of his successful career, Pete Killcommons has been asked to lecture at the Fourth Intensive Balkan Telemedicine and e-Health Seminar in Podgorica, Montenegro, and to deliver the keynote speech at the First Armenian International Telemedicine Congress in Yerevan, Armenia. He has also traveled to Afghanistan to work with hospitals in Jalalabad, Kabul, and Nangahar. In a further effort to give back to the global community, Dr. Peter Killcommons makes regular contributions to a number of charitable organizations, including the American Red Cross and Rotary International.
