Regurgitated dark matter
We present a new paradigm for the production of the dark matter (DM) relic abundance based on the evaporation of early Universe primordial black holes (PBHs) themselves formed from DM particles. As a concrete realization, we consider a minimal model of the dark sector in which a first-order phase transition results in the formation of Fermiball remnants that collapse to PBHs, which then emit DM particles.
Coexistence Test of Primordial Black Holes and Particle Dark Matter from Diffractive Lensing
Abstract If dark matter (DM) consists of primordial black holes (PBHs) and particles simultaneously, PBHs are generically embedded within particle DM halos. Such “dressed PBHs” (dPBHs) are subject to modified constraints compared to PBHs and can contribute to significant DM abundance in the mass range 10−1–102M⊙.
PBH formation from overdensities in delayed vacuum transitions
Primordial black hole (PBH) formation from first-order phase transitions (FOPTs) combines two prevalent elements of beyond the Standard Model physics with wide-ranging consequences.
Maryland Enacts a Name, Image, and Likeness Law
Maryland has enacted a law allowing student-athletes to earn compensation from name, image, and likeness (NIL) endorsement deals. The law, Md. Code Ann., Educ. § 15-131, went into effect on July 1, 2023, and is part of a continuing trend of states implementing legislation allowing student-athletes to monetize endorsements.
Montana Enacts A Name, Image, And Likeness Law For Student-Athletes
Montana Senate Bill 248 went into effect on June 1, 2023. This law allows student-athletes to earn compensation from Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) endorsement deals and is part of a trend of NIL legislation being passed by states that allow student-athletes to monetize endorsement deals. The Montana NIL law is broad.

Signatures of a High Temperature QCD Transition in the Early Universe
Abstract Beyond-Standard-Model extensions of QCD could result in quark and gluon confinement occurring well above at temperature around the GeV scale. These models can also alter the order of the QCD phase transition. Therefore, the enhanced production of primordial black holes (PBHs) that can accompany the change in relativistic degrees of freedom at the QCD transition could favor the production of PBHs with mass scales smaller than the Standard Model QCD horizon scale.
Late-forming primordial black holes: Beyond the CMB era
Abstract The intermediate mass black hole range, 102≲MBH/M⊙≲105, has long offered enticing possibilities for primordial black holes (PBHs), with populations in this range postulated to be responsible for some of the black hole binary merger detected events as well as the existence of supermassive black holes embedded at galactic centers.
Changes to Florida’s Name, Image, and Likeness Rules | JD Supra
Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities have been a hot topic in college sports since the summer of 2021. In July 2021, the NCAA released an Interim NIL Policy. Before then, individual states had passed laws allowing college athletes to enter NIL deals. Florida was one of the earliest states to enact an NIL law. Passed in 2020, it went into effect in July 2021.

NCAA Rules To Be Aware Of Before Reaching An NIL Deal
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) recently issued new guidance regarding name, image, and likeness (NIL) endorsement deals with college athletes. The NCAA's most recent guidance aims to provide clarity on NIL rules and is important for all businesses entering NIL deals with collegiate athletes, as well as colleges and universities subject to NCAA rules. The NCAA's Past Guidance In July 2021, the NCAA released its Interim NIL Policy.
