Preview - AFL 2024 Second Elimination Final - Dogs v Hawks Fri Sept 6th 7:40pm EST (MCG)
#16 Dogs should get over the line in this one. They a more finals hardened team than us and bat deeper through the middle and their 3 talls may cause us some issues. This is were hawthorn should be in 2025 or 2026 not this year. Having basically 19 or 20 of our best 22 out there has helped on this hot run where on This is a final the dogs simply cannot afford to lose, with this supposed mega talented list we keep hearing about to miss top 4 again and go out in week 1 would be an abject failure.

Who is the best mark of the ball ever?
#7 Damn, just checked the numbers and Stewart Leowe did 71 contested marks in 18 games (3.94 per game) in 2000. Beast. He was also well past his prime in 2000. Wonder if they have numbers from the mid 90s? I reckon he would have been getting close to 5 per game at one stage
Preview - Power v Hawks - AFL Rd 10, 2024 - Sunday May 19th 2:50pm - (Adelaide Oval)
First Sunday 3.20 7 game of the year, any reason it's this game specifically? There's still a Thursday night game right? Yep looks like FTA gets an extra game this week. 7 in Melb are showing Thurs/Fri/Sat nights and Sunday afternoonThis game specifically.... can only guess. Perhaps it is because 7 has to show all Crows/Power games in South Australia live so they figured why not show it to the rest of the nation.... that's all I have on that.

Game Day - AFL 2024 Round 8 - Dogs v Hawks Sun May 5th 4pm AEST (Marvel)
#4 Will be interesting to see how the rookie coach navigates things here. The Dogs at Docklands can get off the leash. Consecutive thrashing’s will only see the pressure continue to mount …
Game Day - AFL 2024 Round 7 - Hawks v Swans Sun April 28th 4pm AEST (MCG)
#10 Can Buddy play for us for a half? Anyway it will be good to see Hawks & Swans fans given the opportunity to farewell Bud. If I take my Hawthorn coloured glasses off, it’s the Swans by 10 goals. Otherwise, we are always a chance at an upset! I was surprised they managed to convince Buddy to go around again wants nothing more to do with the game for now at least.
Umpiring - Easter Monday 2024 Cats v Hawks Umpire Chat
Umps don't understand the below knee contact rule and why it brought in .... the Geelong free (which ended up as adavntage) the Hawks player dove forward and tapped the ball forward... he was the only player playing the ball and the Geelong player came in from the side and slightly behind and fell and kneed into the Hawks players back ... clear free to Hawks player but given a free to Geeelong for taking the legs ....
