U.S. forces bombed Iran for the second straight night on Wednesday, hours after President Donald Trump said that Iran was taking "too long to negotiate" a peace deal. Iranian state news outlets reported explosions on two islands near the Strait of Hormuz, the hotly contested commercial waterway, as well as in the cities of Minab, Sirik and Bandar Abbas, near an airport and air base. They also said that air defenses had been activated in the capital, Tehran.
