AOC IS ON FIRE - Democratic Underground
Response to YoshidaYui (Original post) Wed Sep 27, 2023, 02:58 PM To an unprepared witness. And she's right; there are no alternative proposals from Republicans, just a lot of griping about the border, and proposed cuts to the Border Service budget. Oh, and an ongoing desire to shoot blindly into Mexico just because. Reply to this post Back to top Alert abuse Link here Permalink
First sightings of Senator Fetterman since he checked himself into Walter Reed
Response to BlueWaveNeverEnd (Original post) Tue Mar 7, 2023, 09:33 AM 5. Thank You For This I am so glad to hear something about Senator Fetterman. I must say that he looks a lot better than he did when he entered the hospital, more like his old self. I hope he gets back to fighting form. New rules would limit sugar in school meals for first time
Actually bought a dozen grade A large eggs, free range, organic today at the Farmer's Marker for $5.00. I bought a dozen eggs last month at the grocery store for $6.99 and they weren't even free range. When I first went to the farmer's market back in 2010, they were selling eggs for $1.00 a dozen but they weren't free range but still very cheap. Right now in our local Wal Mart they are selling ground beef for $4 to $6 a pound.

Even at times like this, when the party is plenty well-arrayed. A slightly newer saw is that “Democrats are bad at messaging.” -snip- To buy a catchphrase from Don Draper and hammer away at it might have worked in 2008 or 2012. But it shouldn’t be any congressional candidate’s strategy in jaded 2022.

The decision to phase out nuclear power and shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy was first taken by the center-left government of Gerhard Schroeder in 2002.
