#1 · Guys please help me with speakers for Dedicated Home Theater. It is a real tough on what to pick for that. I am working a project for my Uncle and he is getting a new home built. And while planning for it I am unable to decide on what speakers to pick for Home Theater. He is going for $50k KEF Reference(Fronts) + R Meta(Surrounds) 9.8.6 setup for the Living Room. So yeah that makes it real difficult to pick up anything for Home-theater that would actually take it up a notch or two from there.
#1 · Hello everyone, I'm new and I'm writing from Italy to ask you for a big advice. In my room of about 4x4m (about 13' x 13') I am preparing a 5/7.1.4/6 home theater with two b&w 803 D4 in front, a b&w HTM82 D4 in the center and 2/4 b&w 805 D4 behind. I was also thinking of installing 4/6 speakers on the ceiling yet to be determined. For now, I'm pretty sure I'm buying the Arcam AV41 as a preamp, but I'm very unsure about power amplifiers.
#2 · With the new audio format , DTS X Pro and Auro 3D ; would a BlueRay Payer , been able to read theme ? ... Depends on the Blu-ray player. #3 · What are the requirements ? #10 · Any new BD player from a reputable company will use your Internet to upgrade/update the Codec as necessary. A 10 year old player, maybe not so much. Since we don't use our player that much, it seems there is always an update to download and install when we fire it up for a nice movie night.
