Experimental Study on the Accumulation Characteristics and Submergence Degree of Three-Dimensional Granular Rock Landslides in Shallow-Water Areas
1. Introduction Landslides are common geological hazards that occur when sections of rock and soil on a mountain slope undergo shear displacement along a certain weak structural plane (zone) under the action of gravity and move toward lower parts of a slope as a whole, and it often occurs during or after rainfall events (Nazrien et al. [1]; Margielewski and Urban [2]; He et al. [3]).
Inland Waterway Infrastructure Maintenance Prediction Model Based on Network-Level Assessment
1. Introduction Water transportation, compared to other modes of transportation, is environmentally friendly and pollution-free, which is conducive to the sustainable development of society and has played an essential role in economic construction from ancient civilizations to the present day [].

Effects of the Diversity of Flow Velocity on the Upstream Migration Behavior of Grass Carp in the Reaches of Spur Dikes
3.2. Flow Field in the Reaches of Spur Dikes A river’s flow will have an important impact on the behavior of fish. Therefore, a study of the impact of spur dikes on the local flow patterns of the river in this section was the basis for exploring the impact of spur dikes on the upstream migration behavior of fish. The distribution of the flow patterns near the spur dike was relatively complex.
Experimental Investigations on the Response of Bedload Sediment to Vibration
Abstract : Research results on sediment vibration characteristics are scarce, and knowledge on the effect of the particle size on the sediment vibration response is still limited. In this study, natural pebbles of different heights—A, B and C—were selected (hA < hB < hC). Miniature acceleration sensors were installed inside the pebble. Experimental methods were used to measure the vibration process of pebbles on the rough bed surface and to measure the near-bed velocities simultaneously.
Service Life Prediction of Flexible Concrete Mattresses (FCMs) in the Yangtze River
Abstract : Many scholars have studied the failure mechanism of waterway regulating structures, but there is still a need to improve research on their reliability and service life in the industry. Currently, flexible concrete mattresses (FCMs) are the regulating structure widely used on the Yangtze River Golden Waterway, so it is important to study their service life. The stability function has been built based on the mechanism of stability against sliding and a time-varying reliability model.
Experimental Study on the Influence of New Permeable Spur Dikes on Local Scour of Navigation Channel
Abstract : The depths and areas of the scour holes around spur dikes are the most concerning issues regarding spur dike design. In this study, using a moving bed experiment, the influence of traditional rock-fill spur dikes and new permeable spur dikes with different permeabilities on riverbed scour under unsteady flow was studied, and the spatial characteristics of scour holes at dike heads were analyzed.
CYP39A1 gene on high altitude pulmonary edema
Introduction High altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE) is a kind of rapid noncardiogenic pulmonary edema, which usually occurs in people who visit to altitudes above 2500–3000 m within 2–4 days.1 The incidence of HAPE is high and the symptoms are severe.2 If not addressed in a timely manner, it can develop into a coma in a relatively short time and even lead to death.3 There is the absence of effective ways to evaluate the prevention and treatment of HAPE.
