calcVal() works fine over corners but not when variable swept
I am using calcVal() with evaltype = "corners" to do some maths between 2 corners and it works fine until a variable is swept. I was expecting a calcVal result for each sweep but get eval err instead. I dont want to use "all" as i want individual results per sweep step.

DSPF black box
The DSPF include option in Explorer Simulation Files Setup has a "black box" option. I have a DSPF extraction which contains a sub-cell which i don't want extracted. When i use this option i get the usual dspf_include statement at the end of the netlist but now with blackbox="blah blah" which seems promising.
Spectre parallel jobs reduce near finish
When I have a thousand corners for example and I set 10 spectre jobs to run in parallel the 10 runs are not maintained right to the end but reduce down to eventually 1 for the last 100 runs or so which considerably increase sim time.

When including DSPF file in Simulation Files Setup and using schematic in config as the forum recommends is it possible to remove some device lines from the DSPF file and the schematic alternatives would be netlisted? Or does the DSPF file completely override the schematic in the config?

I am using ADE explorer only and aren't able to use the monte carlo sensitivity analysis and mismatch analysis because the buttons are greyed out. Is it because an assembler license is needed?
maestro spectre parallel jobs reduce as total jobs neared
If you may have a large number of corner spectre runs and select 10 Max Jobs, you will get those 10 runs in parallel until you near the end and the parallel jobs starts to reduce down to 2 automatically which significantly extends simulation time. How can this parallel jobs reduction be prevented?
maestro runs complete counter disappears
Dear Pirate King, In a maestro once a run is started a counter appears on the bottom frame of the window showing the number of runs complete x/y and a percentage counter. Sometimes this does not appear after a run start and I cant find a menu option or right click option to bring it back. If this does not appear then what other method is there to see runs progress? I have never experienced this behavior and hence cannot comment on your request to "restore" this behavior.

Hello, I have successfully written a skill script to extract operating point data from all MOS from psf dcOp results over sweeps; It has columns of Device Vsat_marg Vds Vdd temperature <other sweeps> The Device column is a instance hierarchy such as; /I74/I15/M6 and so on I want to be able to filter out rows in this table for any MOS instances belonging to inverters, standard logic and cmos switches by grep ing out the selection but I don't know the cellnames these instances belong to.
