I highly worn against purchasing from Undone, worst customer service ever and will leave you hanging.
I bought the Tachikoma Blue limited release, and after some time I noticed a problem with the chronograph. When I press the start pusher, the chronograph hand doesn’t move at all. Since I was still within my warranty period, which runs through December 2026, I reached out to Undone’s customer support. I figured this would be a simple warranty claim. I emailed Undone customer support on September 3. I got an automatic reply within minutes saying to expect a response in 24 to 48 hours.

What I was wearing and what I was doing today... Went for a nice Mountain bike ride in the Perth hills in Western Australia on the Heritage trail. Last time riding here I crashed being silly and videoing one handed and got a concussion 🤪 Yes, I was wearing a helmet and yes, I destroyed it in the process! I've since switched out my riding watch from the Aqua Terra to the Alpinist so if I crash again the pain will be mitigated somewhat... Incoming photo dump for anyone who cares...
Barrellhead watch
Few debates in the watch world have remained as persistent — or as emotionally charged — as sapphire versus Hesalite. For decades, enthusiasts have argued over which material belongs on a true tool watch, particularly one intended for aerospace use. Sapphire offers exceptional scratch resistance... www.ablogtowatch.com
Who here has finished their watch collection?
I always think I'm done because I've acquired pretty much all the watches that I desired and could afford from what we would label high end (Patek, AP, BP, JLC, etc) to micros (some off of crowd funding) but it doesn't seem to end . . . . the best I can hope for, and it is thankfully happening, is that new purchases are very far and few between, unlike 15 years ago.
Really like what Korean artist Lee has done to the the already awesome Octo Finnissimo. I'll never be avant garde enough to pull off wearing an octo, but I'd give it a red hot go if someone gifted me this sublime piece. Hand etched bracelet and case that resembles a Meteorite and a stunning mirror-like dial. Yes please.
New Aqua Terra
Now with color matching strap and black bezel. I don’t see an outcome where I don’t buy this. And soon. First watch in a long time that gets me excited at this level.
Which summer blue watch do you prefer?
Just starting my watch collection...
Chalk and (d1ck)cheese
My beloved grail/milestone Aqua Terra is due for a service. I bought it in 2019 and recently received a fat tax refund so I figured it's time. Spoke to my local Omega service guy and he was very friendly and helpful. He explained that I could bring it in and be put on a list, as they have quite a backlog of service repairs. II'm guessing he was the manager as he seemed both knowledgeable and professional.
Mier-Parys
Never heard of them but after visiting their launch page, I thought I'd share it here. Some definite Polerouter/Kurono vibes with an Omega crown thrown in for good measure. MIER—PARYS Official Site | Luxury Swiss Watches https://share.google/VMvLqjtHYxvEOzE3h Some funky colourways perhaps inspired by Farer? At $2500 US they are pretty pricey for a kickstarter micro. Thoughts?
Help me re-shoe my beater please!
My Citizen promaster tough work beater needs a new strap finally. The cordura has seen better days and I want to try rubber. Being a beater I don't want to spend too much and recently saw someone post some cheap and cheerful Ali express links to rubber straps. Of course even using the search function has led me nowhere. Please and thank you to anyone who can help me out? A non related picture of an Echidna we found while doing archery recently for your time...
Please, no selling on a discussion forum
Hello all, [deleted by moderator. Please review the forum rules. Thank you] Thanks guys!
Can someone please lend me 32K?
Finally found a skeletonised watch I can drool over. The good people at Czapek borrowed heavily (or shamelessly stole if you like) from the Rolex Milgauss crystal to bring us the Viridian green Promenade. Apparently this Promenade model can be purchased with a Milanese strap which IMHO would be insane. At only 32,000 Euro I must humbly approach the most generous and affluent of you here to help me bring this sweet piece of kit home. Read more here.
What in the actual...
I wonder what the bezel action is like on a $61 AUD watch?

#1 · have posted a couple of times asking for some help with a couple of watches and just seem to get sarcastic remarks and people taking the piss because i obviously do not know as much as the more knowledgeable members, which is why i was using the forum in the first place, so thank you to those who were kind enough to offer help and **** the rest of you. cheers pete w #2 · this forum is made up of mostly grumpy boomers with a lot of very dry and difficult-to-parse inside jokes.

New from Kuruno
Just saw this on Instagram.About $4000AUD which is about 2x what I think they are worth.Yes, the dials are nice, but I struggle to see the value with a Miyota (presumably) inside.Thoughts?
Anyone remember these from 1997?
Ikepod were originally designed by Marc Newson, who famously went on to design the Apple Watch. You can actually see his design language in both the Ikepod and Apple Watch with the integrated rubber bracelet being almost identical between the two. But the original Ikepod started by Newson went bust a few years ago and were bought up by a Chinese conglomerate which basically took the design and have been throwing cheap movements in them.
They look so much better sans PR
Discussion Starter · #1 · 25 m ago I kind of like this one. Well at least I did until I saw the price and the caseback. I did not realize the spring drive is so awkward looking. Anyone else like this GS or better yet, think the spring drive looks ok? ID this watch from Cobra Kai?
Discussion Starter · #1 · 25 m ago First up, if you haven't seen the series Cobra Kai, I can highly recommend it. Whilst watching it today, Ralph Macchio's character was wearing a watch that looked like a Cartier. Anyone recognize it? Cheers. Sorry for the crappy screenshot. Reddit says that it's a Cartier Tank Anglaise. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk Discussion Starter · #3 · a moment ago Reddit says that it's a Cartier Tank Anglaise.

Grand Seiko fans......
......thoughts on this?Just saw it on my Instagram feed.I'm fairly neutral when it comes to GS.Fantastic dials ruined by PR metres on some models kind of push me away from the brand, but the spring drive is clever as hell. They might make something one day that calls to me, but this watch isn't it.It's hideous.Looks like a horrible Seiko Coutura mall watch.
My heart just skipped a beat or two.
Perusing the forum today I came upon a Czapek some lucky member owned. It was this model. The dial is outstanding IMHO and the rest of the watch is finished superbly. Truly a thing of unrivaled beauty, or so I thought...Searching out the brand I came upon 2 sister versions, also with mouthwatering dials.
This 300m Seamaster.. OMG
Discussion Starter · #1 · a moment ago The Omega heirarchy for me is thus: 1. AT 2. PO 3. 300m With this new 300m that could change. What a beauty. What do you all think? Joined Jul 5, 2007 · 3,717 Posts Nice watch. I would be curious to know what Watchfinder are charging for this. £20k? Even more curious as to what they paid to buy it in. £ 1100? Their prices are very bizarre.
Omega ID help!
Discussion Starter · #1 · a moment ago Working on a guys house and we got to talking about watches, turns out he has an Omega or 2. He gave me a photo of his Seamaster. Average spend?
Ever wondered how much you spend on watches on average? I thought about it recently, so I did the math. My 3 watch collection cost me a total of $7760, which equals an average spend of $2586.66 per watch. This is both impressive and unsettling in equal amounts!
Someone here has a LE Ball
Someone once posted the nicest Ball watch here. I think it was porcelain or enamel dialed and it was quite pricey. I wanted to show my WIS friend but I can't find it. Anyone own the watch? Please post it!

Anyone else spoilt by accuracy?
Since buying my Omega and getting +0.4spd after it bedded in, I feel any new watch without COSC/METAS is going to be underwhelming. As much as I love my SARB, when I check the time it annoys me that it is minutes fast after 7 days.Pre-Omega this never bothered me, but now....One day I might buy a Diver to round out my collection and I'm pretty sure it will have to be COSC or I'll be most upsetAnyone else hung up on accuracy?Pic semi-related.
Appalling watches of Instagram/Facebook
Discussion Starter • #1 • a moment ago After blocking/reporting ads as inappropriate, both platforms relentlessly shill more rubbish to my feed. Get rid of Vincero and they come up with Enzo. This latest offering made me laugh. I plead the 5th! In fairness, you do get an integrated bracelet for $99 - take note AP! The Brera. Our distillation of striking simplicity.
Dead, but not buried.
Discussion Starter • #1 • a moment ago I should probably throw them out, but these are a kind of time capsule for me in my horology journey. On the left, my Seiko kinetic. Bought about 5 or so years ago. Was my first watch I purchased after a very long time not wearing one. I think it cost about $250AUS and at the time I thought that was a lot of money. Lasted about 2 years before my wearing it to work killed it dead.

Just for a laugh..
Discussion Starter • #1 • 35 m ago Friend at work mentioned 2 gifted watches he acquired from helping some old fella move some furniture. I asked him to show me them so I could determine their worth. One was a quartz Sekonda which I've since discovered is worth 2 medium coffees and a slap to the face. The second was this Rolex. To my untrained eye it was faker than Donald's skin tone.
Straight to grail..
Discussion Starter • #1 • a moment ago I think I was supposed to buy a bunch of mid-tier watches before my grail but two good tax returns changed all that. Now I'm the very happy owner of a 2020 model AT 8900 on the bracelet. So far it is running an even +/-0 seconds a day, can't ask for better than that. Obviously there are other grails I could focus on now (hello Moser & Cie Streamliner), but if I never buy another watch I think my Omega will be enough.
I can now control time.....
Discussion Starter • #1 • a moment ago Time will never escape you again with this ingenious offering from the mad laboratories at INVICTA. Sitting pretty at a modest 52mm and packed full of quartz goodness, this wrist-beast has a built in jail door, leaving you to decide when time is allowed out. I can't believe the massive savings available for astute buyers RIGHT NOW.
My experience with Stowa
I spent many hours scouring this forum to learn all I could about Stowa before finally deciding to purchase the bronze flieger. As a fan of quirky tool watches (Sarb017 owner), the bronze flieger immediately caught my eye. I'd never really thought much about fliegers, but I loved the idea of having a bronze watch that wasn't a diver and the design aesthetics and simplicity of this Stowa and the NON-oxidizing bronze* case looked like a great purchase.

3 Feb Think of them as a little pop culture pop quiz Jamie Bolton’s minimalist movie posters chisel the away at the pack-it-all-in, DVD-extras-and-bonus-material mentality, revealing only the essence of what a film is all about. Of course, if you haven’t seen any of the films Jamie’s portrayed on poster, then the message may be hard to decipher. If you haven’t seen Back to the Future, Blade Runner, The Shining, Jurassic Park, then buy yourself a Netflix account and a clue.
