Biden Should Keep Jerry Milner at Children's Bureau
The election of former Vice President Joe Biden provides an opportunity to end the war against poor families waged by the Trump administration. President Trump sought to deny millions of Americans – including children – health care, food stamps and cash assistance. His policies ripped children from parents escaping poverty, violence and abuse in their home countries.
Supreme Court LGBTQ Ruling is False-Flag Victory
At my very first job, I remember being continually misgendered, sexually harassed and gaslighted while being exploited, paid under the table, expected to work overtime and never compensated for it, and continually asked to work when we were closed, on our own personal time. This was a minimum wage service job. For a long time, I was unaware of how we were being exploited. I just remember feeling constant fear, dread and exhaustion.
I Had to Hide My Personality Due to Fear
Dear God, Thank you for the care and love that you have bestowed upon my family and me. Thank you for allowing me to live a healthy life and to see your light once more. I appreciate all that you do for my family, my friends, myself, and the world. I apologize for my sins; the wrong things I do, see, hear, and say. I know I am a sinner. Please continue to take care of me and guide me as I write about your love and your holy scripture in my testimony. Amen.

Because of his narcissistic tendencies, I can’t bring myself to trust him in any position of power, especially the presidency. Trump’s agenda also impacts women’s rights, being that new Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett is now sworn in.

I vote to honor my ancestors. The ones who survived slavery so that I might thrive; the ones who died pursuing freedom and liberty. The kinfolk who suffered selflessly so that I can legally read, write and vote. The ones who fought in World War I, World War II and Vietnam. They are the reason I found the motivation to vote early during a pandemic. And even with the blood bond burning in my being, I still considered opting out of American politics and all of its insanity.

Spooky season is here – however this year, the scares aren’t just about Halloween, but about the impending elections exposing the threats to our dignity, health, wellbeing, and democracy as a diverse society.
The Complicity of Academia in Policing of Families
Academia is a space for immense learning and knowledge building. It is a place where ideas are crafted into resolutions for some of the world’s greatest concerns. Yet, because of its potential to do good, we often overlook academia’s complicity and collaboration in harmful research projects and practices. The “Ivory Tower” has notably harmed Black and Indigenous folks historically and in the present context.
