Mainly Microsoft Office, but also 100wpm Teeline shorthand and oTranscribe.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Be bold and not afraid to try anything new or that looks unwieldy, complex or boring.

Coffee!

It's too complex and boring.
